Between symbolic
A question that came up in our GD&T WhatsApp group.
When the between symbol is used, as in figure 1, on the profile specification, how do I identify the indicated features?
Answer:
The default for any geometric specification is that it is limited to a single feature
The between symbol means the specification applies across multiple features or to a limited segment between the designated extremities.
In this case we start from the profile specification leader until we reach the marker A, and then from the leader to the marker B (marked orange in figure 2
