GD&T is an international, concise and precise symbolic language developed for the express purpose of documenting geometric requirements specifications of a manufactured assembly part and to ensure functionality, compatibility and interchangeability of those parts. Mr. Omri is a development engineer and an expert in GD&T. Mr. Omri has earned ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) certification at its highest level, Senior GDTP Certificate Holder.

Gili Omri is also the representative of Israel in the ISO committee that deals with the GD&T standard (specifications and validation)

Mr. Omri began developing GD&T ASME- and ISO-compliant training curricula for the Israel market in the year 2007. The training courses focus on functional constraints and the interdependent relationship between design, production and control. The training has proven its effectiveness and has been purchased by large, international companies who operate in Israel.

The integration of his experience as a mechanical designer and his proven GD&T expertise allows Mr. Omri to teach from the designer’s perspective, but with a deep understanding of the product-development process and the interfaces with production and control.
